2019 WA IT Leaders Summit

This years’ WA IT Leaders’ Summit was a two-day event held at The Westin Perth. Business Insights Asia Pacific (BIAP) invited several IT industry leaders across Western Australia to present their current business’ digital transformation strategies and processes.

Speakers discussed their digital transformation stories most commonly referring to the increase in application developments and Microsoft Office Azure services.

Across the two-day event Novata Solutions Managing Director & Principal Consultant Rinaldo De Paolis and Project Delivery & Creative Manager Alex Noor spoke with attendees and other vendors about digital transformations, application developments and Microsoft Azure technologies and how low-code rapid developments are currently considered as being best practices.

Application Developments

Defined

Application Development refers to a program that can be run on any device to complete specific tasks.  Currently, many applications are being built and deployed on low-code rapid technologies such as Out Systems.

OutSystems has developed a way to rapidly reduce deployment time, enabling developers to build and deploy an application faster than ever before, up to 50% - 75% faster in some cases.

Microsoft Azure

Microsoft Azure refers to a form of cloud computing allowing you to access services such as; servers, storage, networking and software over the internet (the cloud). Azure is considered as a more secure, reliable and flexible form of cloud computing software rather than on-premise servers.
