An exciting weekend!

What an exciting weekend had by the Novata Crew!
We kicked off our jam-packed weekend on Friday night with our corporate Christmas party, enjoying the sunset view from the ANZAC Club with great company. This year, we wanted to give back with our clients over the Christmas period and held a food drive in support of Food Bank. We filled up 2x 60L tubs with food donations, as well as cash donations, which meant that we could provide over 70 meals for families over this Christmas period. We want to thank everyone for their kind donations, and we look forward to holding future drives in support of Australian families in need.
Friday night was also a night of exciting news, where we formally announced that Tracy De Paolis has now been named the CEO of Novata Solutions. Tracy’s role within the business has been a grounding force for everybody within Novata, and without her we simply wouldn’t be able to function. We’re delighted to celebrate her efforts within our business by appointing her this new title!
Following on from our Christmas cheer, we marched right into Pride on Saturday! This year, we joined forces with the ACS and marched in the Perth Pride Parade held at Gloucester Park. We would like to say a massive thank you to Jeanene Williams for organising the group, and for challenging us to put on some rainbow and celebrate our staff, clients and community within WA, we’re looking forward to next year!
Finally, we ended our weekend on a lighter note, with our annual donations to Share The Dignity, with their #ItsInTheBag campaign. This year we managed to make up 9 bags for our donations, 2 mum and bub bags, 2 teenage bags and 5 normal bags. We’ve closely followed this cause for 3 years now, and each year we give women and people with periods the opportunity to fight period poverty. We’d like to thank our staff members Katelyn McLennan, Michelle De Silva and Pradeep Senavirathne for their kind donations of 3 bags towards this year’s campaign.
We look forward to continuing our support for community campaigns in the new year, and we hope everyone who joined us over our weekend events had an amazing time!
